LOCATION:
Blythburgh village stands within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just inland from Southwold on the Heritage Coast of north-east Suffolk. The River Blyth is just north of the village on its way out to the sea at Southwold Harbour. Southwold itself is a popular holiday destination and is around four miles away with its shingle beaches, amusements, restaurants bars and quaint shops. The A12 runs through Blythburgh and gives excellent links to Lowestoft in one direction to Ipswich and London in the other. There are bus services to Halesworth and Southwold.
