Mark Jenkinson & son are pleased to announce the completion of the sale of the former Hady Miners' Welfare, Houldsworth Drive, Chesterfield which comprised a substantial former welfare building on a 0.57 acre site that was sold with outline planning consent for a retail and residential scheme.
Our Land and Development team advised on the content of the planning consent and provided supporting information to assist this successful application for demolition of the existing building, construction of two semi detached dwelling houses together with a block comprising an A1 Use Class convenience store and four two bedroom flats across the upper parts.
As a result this development opportunity was sold to a local developer and works are due to commence on site immediately.
