Sheffield based agents Mark Jenkinson & son are the appointed sole letting agents for one of Chesterfield's first commercial developments of 2013 at Foxwood Park on Foxwood Close, Foxwood Industrial Estate, Chesterfield.

The speculative project, which comprises of six attractive units ranging in size from 950 to 1815 sq ft, was completed at the end of August 2013.

The buildings are finished to a shell specification but have a more individual facade than is generally available in the local market and that will suit and attract a wide range of business types.

The volume of enquiries received by the agents since completion has surpassed expectations in the present climate, with two units under offer and one presently in the process of fitting out for occupation.

Mark Renshaw, chartered surveyor at Mark Jenkinson & son said “I have been genuinely surprised by the volume of enquiries since completion, both from businesses expanding within and relocating into the town, which is encouraging for Chesterfield as a location and is hopefully an indicator of an economic recovery, albeit at an early stage.”

Recently Chesterfield has secured substantial regional growth and lottery funding for business development, the centre piece of which is the redevelopment of the historic market hall, which will provide 45 internal and external retail units, 22 offices, a central coffee shop and conference facilities, scheduled to open 28 October 2013.

Only three of the six units on Foxwood Park remain available, all of which will potentially qualify for some form of rating relief. Demand is anticipated for the smaller unit in particular priced at £6,500 per annum and interested parties should contact Mark Renshaw at Mark Jenkinson & son on 01142 2760151 or email
