Mark Jenkinson & Son's last auction was the most successful of the year with 94% of the lots selling for over £3.36 million. The Platinum Suite at Bramall Lane was packed as Auctioneer Adrian Little brought the gavel down on the majority of the forty-five lots in the catalogue. "There was significantly more deals done prior to auction" comments Adrian "and certainly more than I have known in over twenty-five years on the rostrum. This is merely down to the individual circumstances rather than a change in attitude towards pre-auction offers. Some of the lots would have done better in the room but we will never know." "It was encouraging to see so many people actively bidding and the auction provided more evidence of a positive change to the property market this year"
