Figures released this week by the Essential Information Group for the Estates Gazette, show Mark Jenkinson and son in first place among the 24 auctioneers operating in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
136 of the 135 lots in their auctions raised £12.5 million - almost double their nearest competitor. The overall success rate of 93.8% was the highest amongst the country's top auctioneers and they were in 21st position overall.
Auctioneer Adrian Little described their June and July sales as the two strongest post recession auctions with combined sales in excess of £10 million.
